Henrietta Van Woerden

Henrietta Van Woerden is a member of, and recommended by the Heritage Reformed Church of Chilliwack.  Henrietta’s husband John was taken home by the Lord in 2013.  

Henrietta is  blessed with five children and 14 grandchildren.

Henrietta is personally involved with and actively serves in:

  • Bible Study Fellowship
  • Bethesda Christian Association
  • Host at Henderson and Woodlawn Funeral Homes
  • Cascade Christian School Educational Assistant
  • ESL Tudor for International Students
  • Bonisa Mission Regional Committee

Henrietta is recommended by the Heritage Reformed Church of Chilliwack for:

  • Visiting widows
  • Visiting lonely single women

While Henrietta is not a trained counsellor and not equipped to deal with serious cases of depression, she is blessed with a listening ear,  empathetic spirit, caring heart, and a love to encourage others in the Lord.  Being widowed at a young age, she effectively shares and ministers to other widows from her own experience and testifies of God’s sustaining grace.  Henrietta loves to serve God and others in this type of ministry.
